A4 Local PALLADIUM-ITEM, Sunday, Feb. 19, 1995 Obituaries Martha M. Reese EATON, Ohio Martha M. Reese, 82, formerly of Ohio 732, Eaton, died Friday, Feb. 17 at Heartland of Eaton after an extended illness.

She lived in Preble County since 1969, moving from Muncie, where she lived most of her life. She attended the Full Gospel Temple in Eaton. Survivors include one daughter, Geraldine Ramey of West Alexandria, Ohio; four sons, Carlos Reese and Gerald Reese, both of Selma, Wilbur Reese of Oakville, Ind. and Cecil Reese of Eaton, Ohio; one sister, Della Smith of Gainesville, 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oval Lee Reese, in 1966; one son, Emmett Reese; three sisters; three brothers; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Full Gospel Temple, 4745 U.S. 127 Eaton, with Rev. Raymond Rothwell officiating.

Graveside service and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Old Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Ind. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 20 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main Eaton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association American Cancer Society. James E. Glander WEST ALEXANDRIA, Ohio James E. Glander, 77, formerly of West Alexandria died Friday, Feb. 17 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.

He resided in Michigan for the past 15 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Rexarc Manufacturing after 50 years. Glander was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, James E. Ryan Post 322 of the American Legion, Eastern Star Masonic Lodge, Antioch Shriners Organization and a lifetime member of the American Welding Society.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Huntington Woods, two daughters, Nancy Worley of West Alexandria and Kim Swor of Atlanta, and one son, Eric Glander of Virginia Beach, Va. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma, in 1977. Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria with Rev.

High died Saturday, Feb. 18 at Hillcrest Estates Nursing He was born Feb. 25, 1907 in English, to Oliver P. and Ida Adkins Powell. He had lived in Liberty since 1983.

He spent 12 years in Lake Wales, and lived and worked as a letter carrier in Indianapolis prior to that. He was a member of the Christian Church, the National Letter Carriers Association and the Prospect Masonic Lodge in Indianapolis. Survivors includetwo daughters, Phyllis Fuller of Liberty and Bonnie Smartz of Indianapolis; two sons, Max E. Powell of Brownsburg, and William Russell Powell of Mascot, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Robbins Powell, in 1986; four brothers and one sister.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Showalter-Blackwell, Baker-Fosdick Chapel in Liberty. Burial will be at West Point Cemetery in Liberty.
